illium
Illuim is a three-piece band from Sioux City, IA made up of Justin Yap on guitar, Abby Kohout on xylophone/guitar and Mikey Rickord on melodica. All three members are excellent singers in their own right, but when the three put their voices together, the three-part harmony really sets them apart.
Each member brings a wide range of influences including The Strokes, Kurt Cobain and Jim Morrison among others. The mix is an acoustic blend of voices and unique instrumentation that takes the listener to a new level.
They perform their own original songs in various venues around the region, and as far away as Albuquerque NM. They recently released an EP called Runaway.
