Matthew James & The Rust Belt Union ventured up from Des Moines, IA to perform at the studio in Mid-August 2018. Their unique style of rhythm, blues and rock n’ roll (which the band appropriately labels as Midwest Junk Soul) rang through Last Stop. The band is: Matthew James on Guitar/Vocals, Nathan Emerson on Pedal Steel, Larry Kaster on Bass/Vocasl, Nick Maurer Guitar and Wrex Hill on drums.
