We were very excited to have Maxwell Hughes on the White Wall Sessions. Maxwell’s unique style of guitar playing is a combination of tapping, slapping, thumping and anything else that two hands can do on six strings. Maxwell started playing the guitar after getting in a bit of trouble with his parents. He was grounded for a long time and found a lot of time on his hands. He picked up his father’s guitar and taught himself how to play. He has never looked back.
He played with “The Luminers” for a few years and contributed on their Grammy nominated album. Influences by the likes of Kati King and Tommy Tommy Emmanuel, Maxwell has created a name for himself among guitar aficionados.
